Good to know
- New Zealand uses Type I sockets — the angled three-pin plug used across the country — at 230V / 50Hz.
- Most phone, laptop and camera chargers are dual-voltage (100–240V) — you usually only need a plug adapter, not a voltage converter. The angled three-pin Type I plug is standard here; UK, US and European plugs do not fit — check the label and shape of your charger.
